Welcome Walter

Walter Bainbridge Kozlowski was born today, November 13, 2008!!
He was 8 pounds 7 ounces, 20 and a half inches long, born at 4:07pm.
FUNNY STORY!!
OK, so mommy had gotten dressed into her normal clothes so she could go home, and I was holding Walter who was all wrapped up in the warm blanket. He was sleeping in my arms and was just so cute! Mommy said it was time to dress him, so I asked if I could. And yes, I got to be there for the birth, which was way cool! Anyways, so Walter’s clothes were laid out on the bed, so I went over, sat on the bed and got him dressed. He was very go-with-the-flow; let me dress him and everything without crying. He showed a couple adorable faces of discontentment, but didn’t cry. When he was dressed, I wrapped him in the warm blanket, and just sat on the bed holding him.
As I was sitting there, the nurse walked in. It was a nurse that hadn’t been in there before, there had been a shift and everything, so it was a totally new lady, and here is the scene she saw:
I was sitting on the bed with Walter, daddy I think was doing something on his computer and mommy was sitting in the chair, she had gotten her lipstick back on and was all dressed to go.
The nurse politely greeted everyone, then looked at me and said, “So how are you feeling?” as if I was the mother! Haha yeah it was a little weird. I pointed to mommy and said, “She’s the mother, I’m just the big sister.”
So yeah, it was kind of funny! And I was very proud, whenever mommy or daddy told one of the nurses that Walter was number 9, I would say, “And I’m number one!”
So, mommy is doing very well, we are all back home! Walter is doing so well. We were only at the hospital for four hours, so praise the Lord for that!
It really did amaze me to see Walter come out, I had my eyes on him for the first few minutes of his life, I didn’t look away, I couldn’t! it was just so cool, I was looking at Walter thinking, “That’s my little brother!” and it made my eyes glisten with joy! I’m the proudest big sister in the world!
The one thing I can’t stop thinking about though is, maybe one day that will be me. That’s a little weird and scary. A guy doesn’t see birth the same way, but for me…and any other girl, that’s…well you girls know.
I’ll upload some pictures of Walter soon.
Walter looks forward to meeting each and every one of you in time! For now, we are going to have a family weekend.
Love you all!

The Earth’s Damnation, the Lord’s Glorification

The Earth’s Damnation, the Lord’s Glorification
By ErikaLeigh Kozlowski
Oh you foolish children of God. Why do you shake in fear? The God who brought down hail stones upon an army, and turned Saul to Paul can certainly handle Obama! The devil prowling around is much scarier than Obama, and God is so much more powerful than the devil, which means Obama is nothing in comparison! Brothers and sisters, it’s time to praise! Lift your voices in joyful chorus to the Lord!
It’s time to show that world and Obama that we are not afraid! Our God is an awesome God; he reigns over heaven AND EARTH! Over us AND Obama, we have nothing to be afraid of! The Lord’s hand of protection is upon us. So let the world shake with Praises to Him! Show the world who rules you! Show the world who is in control! This is not America’s damnation; this is Christians’ opportunity to glorify the Lord and to enjoy Him forever through everything! To spread His Praises to the whole world! Praise the Lord, for He is good! His love endures forever! His plan is perfect!
Sing to the Lord so loud the whole world can hear! Smile, laugh, praise! Leave the worries behind, and rejoice in the Lord’s victory! He conquered sin and death itself! Why worry about Obama? Why worry for our Country? Worry for people’s souls, not our bodies. And PRIASE THE LORD!!!
PRAISE THE LORD!!

High School Musical 3: A Senior's Review

High School Musical 3: A Senior's Review
By ErikaLeigh Kozlowski--WhyPurity.org
Some may see this movie as just another High School Musical, others may simply see Zac Efron’s arms that just keep growing, and then there are those, like me, who can connect to it. This movie wasn’t just made for a general audience, it was made for a specific audience; those who are in the middle of their “Senior Year.” They didn’t just put together another fun story and call it “Senior Year” no; they looked at the life of a Sr. at what we feel, what we go through, the trials and confusion… the movie showed well that there are also people around you trying to write their own translation of your story, and how that can get really hard!
As a Sr. in High School, I appreciate the fact that the makers of “High School Musical 3” took into consideration, reality, instead of just coming up with a fun story.
I’ll give the movie ten stars, it was certainly the best of the three, the choreography blew away the last two, the music was beautiful, the songs…”Scream” is the song of my heart! Probably of any teen’s heart. Sure the movie was fun, that’s what everyone loves about “High School Musical,” they are fun movies! But it finally had real meaning.
The only thing I would add is something that most people will scoff at. But add Christ! I don’t want people to run my life, and yet, I don’t want them to just leave me behind. If you have something to say to me, then say it. But once you’ve said it, leave me to Christ. If you still feel that I am doing something wrong, then go to God, and ask Him to do His best for me. Not you’re best. His best. It’s my life, no one else’s. No one take this as a slap, it really isn’t! It is a request though. God has a plan for me, and I want to follow Him. As a Sr. I think it would be really cool if someone would not only connect to a Senior’s struggles, but to the answer. And the answer is found in Christ alone. So how about “High School Musical 4: Finding Him”??? OK, maybe not. But something…
